St Philomena’s Carshalton Charitable Trust (SPCCT)
St Philomena’s Carshalton Charitable Trust (SPCCT) is looking forward to welcoming you and your daughter to St Philomena’s School in September 2026.
The Charity was set up in 1996 to support and raise funds for St Philomena’s School. The school is Voluntary Aided which means the School Governors need to fund a proportion of all new buildings together with the maintenance and refurbishment of the existing buildings and for the upkeep and improvement of the whole school, its facilities and grounds. This is only possible due to the generosity of current and past parents.
We are blessed that our Grade II Listed School is situated within 25 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds providing a rich environment for your daughter to thrive.
Please view our SPCCT website https://spcct.stphils.org.uk/home to see how parents’ generous donations to the SPCCT Building and Resources Fund have enabled the development and upkeep of our existing buildings. It has also allowed for the provision of new builds such as the Veritas Centre, built in 2016 which houses our modern Design Technology, Science and Art departments which provide a first class learning environment in which our students flourish. Psalm 127: ‘Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain who build it’.
When Students enter the school in Year 7, we ask for donations of £27.00 per month to the Building & Resources Fund, which is per family for the time their daughter attends the school. Without these contributions from parents the school is restricted in developing excellent learning facilities for the whole school community.
This year the SPCCT has paid towards improving the teaching and learning environment of the school. This includes a renewed focus on sustainability and future-proofing the fabric of the building making it efficient and better insulated, including major roof repairs. We were especially delighted to provide resources for the Jubilee Pilgrims of Hope celebrations.
The SPCCT Financial Contribution Form will be given to parents/carers at the New Intake Parents’/Carers’ Meeting on Thursday 30th April 2026.
Completed forms should be returned to the school on Saturday 9th May 2026, the day your daughter sits her ability tests at the school. There will be staff in the Dining Hall to answer any questions.
If you have any queries please email spcctuk@gmail.com or spcct@stphils.org.uk
We would like to thank you in advance for your kind support and donations to our school Charity and look forward to your daughter achieving and flourishing over the next seven years.
With kind regards
